Flat tyre help: common questions

My car does not have a spare wheel. Can you still help?

Many newer cars only come with a tyre repair kit. If the tyre cannot be repaired or the kit does not work, we can recover your vehicle to a tyre fitter or garage.

Can I drive on a flat tyre?

No. Even a short distance can damage the wheel and make the car hard to control. Run-flat tyres are the exception, but they have a limited range and speed, so check your handbook.

I cannot find my locking wheel nut key. What should I do?

Check the glovebox, the spare wheel well and the door pockets first. If you still cannot find it, tell us when you call so we can plan the job, or recover the car to a tyre fitter.
